Boa Care

Boas are rainforest creatures should be misted every few days during the summer, and less in the winter.
The enclosure should be a 55-gallon tank for any snake that can get up to 12 feet long with a lock screen top.
The substrate should be Aspen snake bedding or Cypress bedding.
They will also need a good size bowl with water to soak for their shedding process and for drinking. When a snake goes to shed their colors will dull.
Food for an Adult snake should be small to medium rats. Baby snakes will eat pinky or fuzzy mice. Juvenile snakes will eat pink or fuzzy rats. All snakes will eat once a week.
